New President!

I have to say, that I was worried about Barrack Obama being President. It wasn't a color issue, or even a youth issue. I was bothered by the fact that I felt I never got a full picture from him. Not that I felt completely secure with McCain either. In this election, for me, the path was not paved in stone. Having said that.... I think that this nation is not one to go down easy. And I think that having to step out of our perverbial box, has brought people hope, and a desire to help their fellow man. Maybe Peggy was right when she was saying, that by putting Obama in office, we closed a gap of animosity between the races. Maybe now we can all stand together and help out our fellow man. If for no other reason, I am glad that he was elected. I didn't vote for him, but no matter which man won, we were in for big changes, be it with VP Palin, a woman or Pres. Obama a black man. I am excited about the future of change!!

I just can't conform to the Obama hype. So what that he is black. He is only 6% black. I will not drink the "Obama Koolaid". I just hope and pray our constitution is able to stand strong by the end of his term...He is single handedly bringing us into socialism. It is scarey if you ask me, no matter what color he is. (can you tell I feel strongly about this?) ha.
