Oh My Good Golly Miss Molly!

I am sitting here at my desk listening to Jason try to teach Kirsten math! She is such a stubborn child! If she is in the mood to do it, she aces through it all, but if you catch her in a bad moment, "faget-a-bout-it"!!! Jason is the only one who can get through to all of the girls, as far as math is concerned! Thank God for him!!! He is gifted with teaching math! I handle all of the English, and we just fumble through sciences! heehee I can hear that he is getting through to her, YEAH JASON! Maybe there is hope yet.......

EASTER

We had a great day! It started off with the Easter Egg Hunt with all of the neighborhood kids, which was a fantastic amount of utter chaos! Our friend Marne told the kids that some of the plastic eggs had money in them..... Kirsten was the first one out of the gate, but would pick up an egg and then shack it to see if it had the money. If it didn't, she would drop it and then move on to the next one! heehee WAY TOO FUNNY! We finally got it through to our money grubbin' kid, that she needed to just grab eggs and be happy with them! heehee She got the idea and we collected more than plenty!  Then we took off to Grandma and Grandpa's for swimming, food, iChat-ing with family, and just a good time all around! It helped that the pool was heated to a perfect temperature, and it was 101 degrees outside! Yes, in March, it was 101 degrees in Yorba Linda, and we were loving every minute of it! I am posting the whole day of pictures on the mac account. So, if you would like to view the whole day, you might want to check that out. We hope that you all enjoyed your day just as much!

Happy St. Patrick's Day

I don't know what makes me love St. Patrick's Day so much, but I do! I love how cute all of the little kids look all dressed up in their green, and how they search out any one in violation of the "green code" so they can pinch them! I just love it!! Here is our little Leprechan. Even her coat was green! heehee

Here's to hoping that everyone got a little bit of luck out of today!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRITT!

It used to be that the Middle School Kids could take balloons to school on their birthdays, and all of the friends would bring one to add to the bunch. BUT! They changed the rules, of course, in time for Brittany's birthday! But, she appreciated the thought! heehee  Brittany is off to Jim's today for the weekend and we will celebrate her birthday next week with a party at Peggy and Paul's house. (In-law's) They are going to heat up their pool, and allow us to bring along a gaggle of girls to eat, drink and be merry! :-) I can't believe that she is already 13! She is changing into a young woman, who, I am very proud of! We definitely have our "teenage" moments, but all in all Brittany absolutely has her head on straight and seems to know what she wants out of life! Good for her! These pictures are of our breakfast for her. Jason woke up early and cooked bacon and made her favorite breakfast of waffles, with fresh strawberries, whipped cream, and syrup! She was very happy! Happy Birthday Britt! We Love You!!

Puddles!

There isn't a child in all of the history of the world that doesn't see a puddle and want to jump in it!  I had to hose down the sidewalk chalk artwork of Brittany and Kirsten, so she decided to take this opportunity to put on her rain boots and stomp in the puddles..... *sigh* Don't you wish you were a kid again sometimes???

Morning Snuggles

Every Morning Kirsten wakes up and wants to "snuggle". She will walk up to whomever and say, in this particular example...., "Brittany, I want to snuggle." And it doesn't matter what you're doing, everyone melts and sits down to rub our faces on this soft little "fuzzy button". How cute is this picture of Brittany! She is way to photogenic!

Life is Good!.......

BOWLING!

OK! Bowling is soooo much fun! I haven't been in forever, and we had so much fun! Kirsten was insisting that we do it and so we finally got our acts together and the in-laws came through with a great day of fun! Jason won, (of course!) Paul came in second, me third, and the girls were all about equal. Of course, Kirsten had TONS of help getting such a great score. heehee I started off great, then in my usual style, I slowly slipped down the scales! O'well, REVENGE IS MINE!! WA HAHA!!! Poor Peggy is still recovering from her surgery for her tendon in her right wrist. But, in our favor, we have some great pics of the day. I posted all of the pics on my mac account. You can click on the link, "More Family Pics".... Thanks Peggy!

Many a man wishes he were strong enough to tear a telephone book in half - especially if he has a teenage daughter. ~Guy Lombardo

Alright, I am ready to be nice to these two! hee hee Actually, I think it is they who are ready to be nice to me! :-) I think that this picture says it all. My ex-husband took this picture of my girls when they were at his house, and I think that he caught this phase of their life SO well! Of course, Brittany came home sick from playing in the rain...... but that is another issue for another day! heehee I know how mad they make me and how helpless that I feel some days, wondering if they will be responsible adults, happy with themselves, etc... but, moments like this one, that I get to witness makes it all better.
