Mommy Dearest???

Ok! My daughter Brittany is always getting into my makeup and Morgan is forever leaving her crap everywhere being a bad influence on Britt.  Thus the messy bathroom. I know that it doesn't look as bad in the picture as it does in real life, you'll just have to trust me, also, behind me on the floor was 2 days of dirty clothes on the ground along with towels.  I went into this nightmare to find something and discovered my Estee Lauder mascara! I don't know about you women out there, but this stuff is expensive! So, I found Brittany's cover up stick and wrote on the mirror, "CLEAN THIS BATHROOM, Do Not Use My Makeup W/O Permission!!!". You could say that I was a little fed up! I hope that this does not mean that I have officially lost it! If so, someone help me! heehee

Super Star!

This week Kirsten was the "super star" student at school. They have the parents put together the picture posters and allow the children to be the line leader and choose things for the teacher, etc... you get the idea. Anyway, she was so excited that I had to put this on the blog. Everyone was standing around her "wowed" by the fact that she was the one chosen this week! heehee Tooo Cute!!

DOUBLE EAGLE!

Yes, I am telling you that Jason made a double eagle two days ago!! He wasn't playing in anything special, but he does have witnesses! I didn't understand how rare a double eagle was until we started going through all of the pros, and even Tiger has only had one in his career, and it wasn't in a tournament, just a round of golf! (That we know of) For those of you out there that don't know what "double eagle"  means, it means that on a par 5, Jason made it in the hole in 2 strokes! Then he proceeded to birdie the next 5 holes! (A birdie is 1 stroke under par) Yeah honey!  Currently, Jason is still in the market for sponsors, but he is also sending out his resumes to car dealerships. We are working both ends of the spectrum and who ever gets to the finish line first wins! If we end up back into the car world, we will be sad, but it was fun while it lasted. And, if we are lucky enough to live our dream, I will keep you posted on where Jason is and what is going on.

Kirsten's Boo Boo!

Kirsten was playing outside with her friends and tripped! I saw her do it and I knew that it hurt, but I didn't think that it was a dramatic moment.... Obviously, I was wrong! She kept crying, which she doesn't do, and I got worried. I started looking for the ouchie, and discovered her chin! She immediately bruised... Poor baby!

Have you heard?

Well, this week will be the tell all for our little family! We have had many difficulties getting sponsors to step up and follow through with their commitments. So, if we can't get them to do it this week, Jason and I are going to have to dive back into the real world and give up our dream. It is very hard to trust people when time and time again we keep running into people who say they are interested, do things to prove that they are and then you can never get ahold of them when it comes to crunch time. All that Jason and I have to say, is "Thank you" to all of you who have done so much to support us following our dreams. It has meant so much to us to be able to give this a try. We never really got the chance to prove we could do it yet, but, hopefully, we will get the opportunity this week and this blog will have been in vein! No matter what, we are positive about wherever life takes us. It will be exciting to see which direction that is! All I know... honestly... as long as I have my husband and my kids, it doesn't matter what we do for jobs! Keep your fingers crossed that all works out for us, we will be doing the same!

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

I woke up to my husband actually rubbing my back! And! My kids were all in a great mood and so nice and sharing! I love the whole "day of Love" thing. It obviously puts my house into a great mood! I hope that all of you out there enjoy this day, and that your sweethearts, no matter who that is..... is spoiling you today!

Hummingbird Lane

I have been floating down memory lane lately and it just so happened that I drove by my parents old home (my home) in Huntington Beach. So many memories, good and bad. But, no matter what the memory, it was always solid. My mom and dad mad sure of that. No matter what we had done in our lives, all of my parents children knew that there was always Hummingbird Lane and my parents. Now that they have retired, we still have them (Thankfully!), but Hummingbird Lane has been passed off to someone else. Hopefully, the next owners of that home will find solice inside it's walls. I miss having my parents so close, but I am at least grateful that I can call them anytime I need them to say "hello", or if I am having a break down, or just to tell them something stupid about my life. There just isn't a deep enough place in my heart that can store how much I love them. I love them almost as much as my little family that I have created on my own! heehee I can only hope that some day, I will provide a home for my children that will help them grow up solid and rest assured. Just like I feel like I have! Thank you mom and dad!

Lovin' the In-laws!

I also just needed to post a special "Thank you" for all that my in-laws do for us! I just don't know where we would be without them. I feel so incredibly blessed to have such a wonderful family. Our family pro's definitely outweigh the con's. Brittany, Morgan and I were plucked up out of the rubble and shown a whole new world of positive, fun, stable, un-conditional love. Thank you, Paul and Peggy...

The Sun!!!!!

I am loving the sun! This picture is from the end of summer last year, but it makes me sooo excited to go confiscate my in-laws pool! We had so much fun at their home this past year, and I am looking forward to even more fun this year!

L.A. Open

Well, the L.A. Open didn't happen for us, but we took a good run at it! The course was a very difficult one, but I think Jason did well considering the difficult course was in VERY poor conditions! Seriously...... I would step on what looked like dry grass only to sink into mud! AND... they weren't playing "lift, clean and place", so these poor guys out there were having to fight mud and grass covered balls! Sooo poorly run, for what is put under the PGA name! They changed two of the holes last minute which really screwed up a few of the guys, and they were very lax about keeping up the pace of play, which, if you have ever played golf, know that it can really mess with your game to hurry up and wait! The low score on the par 72 course was 69 and the high was 89! They had 6 who just plain gave up and withdrew! Jason shot a 79, right smack in the middle. Due mainly to the stupid mud! Seriously, you could see half of his ball, because it had sunk into the fairway and the PGA ruled his ball as "normal conditions"! He would have this beautiful tee shot right down the middle of the fairway and he almost couldn't see his ball, because it had sunk! He missed a few puts, but made great tee shots and his iron game has really stepped it up a notch.  Jason is hoping to play in the Winter Series Golden State Tour. His next tournament will be at Oak Valley Golf Course, in Beaumont , CA. I caddied for him at the PGA  Tournament, and I would love to do it again. I have to admit that the "hills" (small mountains) of Los Serranos were a little more than I anticipated! I was definitely "done" by the 18th hole, but all in all, Jason said that I did a great job. I really enjoyed being out there without being the one that was "out there"! Heeheehee We met some new friends and had a great time!

My Buddy!

I just needed to take a few lines on my blog to thank miss Ami for being my "buddy". I can not count all of the good things that she has done for my psyche! She forces me to do things for myself that normally I wouldn't do and listens to me and makes me laugh! I don't know what I would do without her! I thank God everyday that Kim brought her into this world. (Things happen for a reason) "I love you Man!"

The Countdown!!

Well kids, we have 2 days until Jason goes to his pre-qualifier for the L.A. Open! He has been working his buns off and is ready to "get-r-done!"! heehee Tomorrow he goes to do his practice round with a friend.

We just found out this morning that Jason is teeing off at 8am on the 1st tee at Los Serranos, in Chino Hills, CA. I think that he will be on the South Course. Anyway, we are very excited and can't wait for the opportunity!

SUPERBOWL!!

OK.... So how excited was everyone about the result of the game yesterday???? I loved how both defenses played to their very best and we, as the viewers, got the benefit of watching. I have to admit that I was really wanting the Giants to win, so I was extra happy, but that was only because of the Patriots cheating a little while ago. (And not to mention all of the times that we don't know about.)
